4G Technology
In 1992, 4G LTE Technology, 3G and 2G phones were recognized by International Telecommunication Union (ITU), which controls all scenarios of telecommunications globally. The 4G phones have come as a result of improvement to 1G, 2G and 3G phones. To begin with, 1G phones were converted to 2G phones in Finland in 1992 to enhance the speed in internet connectivity. In 2000, 3G technology replaced 2G technology, enabling faster access of files as one could download about 512 Kbps at a speed of seven Mbps.
The 4G phones outdo 3G technology due to their faster services. Wimax Company tested and introduced 4G phones. In 2006, the first release on connectivity of LTE was carried out and the final release was facilitated in 2009. Gbit/s marked the beginning of super fast internet services.
Currently, 4G phones enjoy the Wi-Fi service and mobility communication. But electronic devices like the PC and TV won’t enjoy the services of 4G technology for a few years to come. It is approximated that 5G technology will be released by 2017.
The Android phones’ operating system platform is run by 4G smartphones. The 4G connectivity is the given operating system of Android. LTE technology optimizes 4G Android phones, thus giving its users a good experience as they download files and surf the internet due with speed. The 4G technology is not only found in Android phones and 4G phones, but also in desktop computers, gaming devices, tablet PCs, laptops and netbooks.
The current technology in which the phone acts as a modem through connecting the phone to a laptop than to the internet is allowed by Android phones since wireless tethering is possible. The services of Bluetooth and internet connectivity are also provided by Android phones in addition to wireless service. The streaming of video using the current models is made possible through the use of video conferencing and network of 4G using the Google Talk in all Android phones. Since the Android platform can access the market, users are able to download games and other applications.
